Modest Style

I find I’m becoming increasingly interested in finding outfits with varying hemlines. I often wear short (not overly short though) drop hem skirts, however I think I must be craving variety in my outfit choices as I’ve been browsing through Instagram, blogs, Daily Mail and Facebook to seek inspiration for stylish outfits that are a little more modest.

A lot of the inspirational outfits contain pencil skirts, an item of clothing that enables an individual to show off their figure, yet not reveal too much skin. I find a lot of these outfits can be worn during the day and easily taken into the evening (not necessarily always in a clubbing setting, perhaps dinner with friends or a date) by adding different shoes and some statement accessories.

Here are some photos of fashion inspiration for day and evening looks that reflect a more modest style. I’ve included two outfit suggestions as well!
